Professional Background
Buschra Lemkadem began her career in 1995 with training as a dental assistant (ZFA). This was followed by extensive experience in patient care — with particular attention to anxious patients — as well as in prophylaxis and practice organisation. Through further training as a dental prophylaxis assistant (ZMP), Ms Lemkadem gained solid expertise in prophylaxis, patient communication, billing and practice management. Her subsequent training as a dental hygienist (DH) laid the professional foundation for her passion for preventive dentistry and periodontology. With more than 30 years of hands-on patient experience, Ms Lemkadem's knowledge and expertise make her an indispensable part of the smileDentity team. As a qualified whitening manager, she also trains dental professionals in professional whitening with fläsh.
The dental hygienist qualification represents the highest internationally achievable qualification in supportive periodontal therapy (SPT) and individual prophylaxis. Dental hygienists are permitted to carry out systematic periodontal therapies independently — a competency that goes beyond the capabilities of prophylaxis assistants.
