More than just teeth: your smile as a complete work of art
A genuine smile comes from within — but it becomes visible from the outside. At smileDentity, we combine aesthetic dentistry with state-of-the-art facial aesthetics. We view teeth, lips, gums and facial harmony as a whole — because true beauty arises from interplay. Andreas Haas, M.Sc., a member of the IGÄM, has been perfecting smiles for more than 20 years with minimally invasive techniques and nature-identical materials.
More than dentistry — facial harmony.
We view teeth, lips, gums and face as a whole. True beauty arises from interplay — not from individual parts.

A natural smile — without surgery.
A “gummy smile” is often caused by an overactive lip-elevator muscle. With neuromodulators (e.g. Botox®), we relax this muscle in a targeted way — reversibly and while preserving facial expression.
A minimal dose is injected into the lip-elevator muscle (musculus levator labii superioris).
Relaxes the muscles — the upper lip no longer rises too much when smiling.
Result: a natural, balanced smile — without surgery, without scars.
Lasts 3–6 months. With regular use, the need may decrease in the long term.
Reversible and expression-preserving — you retain your expressiveness, just more harmoniously.
Teeth, lips, face — one smile.

Frequently Asked Questions
Smile Enhancement describes the targeted aesthetic optimisation of the entire smile – not just the teeth. The focus is on the interplay of teeth, lips, gums, facial expression and facial proportions. The goal is a fresh, harmonious and natural-looking overall appearance.
The term therefore covers several possible treatment approaches, which can be combined differently depending on the initial situation. These include, for example, lip aesthetics, teeth whitening, corrections of a gummy smile or complementary aesthetic measures around the smile. Individual planning is always decisive. Not every change has to be big to have a visible effect. Often, small, precisely coordinated adjustments make the difference. Good Smile Enhancement does not pursue an artificial trend look, but strengthens the patient’s natural charisma. So it is not about "more", but about the right balance.
The goal of Smile Enhancement is a harmonious, well-groomed and natural-looking smile that suits the patient’s overall charisma. It is not about creating a standardised ideal, but about improving individual proportions so that teeth, lips, gums and facial expressions work together harmoniously.
Many patients above all want more freshness, more symmetry or an overall calmer and more aesthetic appearance. What matters is that the result does not look "done", but authentic and natural. Good Smile Enhancement concepts therefore rely on precision, restraint and a clear analysis of the initial situation. The goal can vary greatly from patient to patient: sometimes it is about lip contour, sometimes about teeth whitening, sometimes about correcting a gummy smile. The common denominator is always the natural improvement of the overall effect when smiling.
8D Lip Aesthetics refers to a particularly differentiated approach to lip treatment in which several aesthetic dimensions are considered at the same time. These typically include shape, volume, contour, projection, symmetry, proportion, definition and integration into the rest of the face. Instead of simply aiming for "more fullness", it is analysed very precisely which change makes sense at all. For some patients the contour is the priority, for others the balance between the upper and lower lip or the projection in profile. It is precisely this multidimensional view that makes the difference. The concept is particularly suitable for natural results, because no single effect is overemphasised. Good lip aesthetics depend on fine work and a sense of proportion. 8D Lip Aesthetics therefore stands for individualisation, precision and an aesthetic result that convinces not in isolation, but in the face as a whole.
Yes, the result is expressly intended to look natural. Especially in the field of Smile Enhancement, naturalness is one of the most important quality criteria. The aim is not an exaggerated or immediately recognisable artificial effect, but an aesthetic improvement that appears fresh, harmonious and true to type.
Natural results come from restraint, precision and good analysis. It is not maximum change but the right dosage that makes the difference. For lip treatments, for example, this means shaping contour, volume and proportion so that the lips look lively and well-groomed, but still suit the facial expressions, face and personality. The same applies to teeth whitening or gummy smile corrections: a beautiful result stands out positively without looking alien. Good aesthetic medicine therefore does not follow trends, but individual harmony. Naturalness is not a renunciation of effect – it is the actual goal.
High-quality hyaluronic acid fillers are generally used for lip treatments. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that also occurs naturally in the body and is therefore particularly well suited for aesthetic applications. Depending on the product and technique, it can be used to improve contour, make slight volume adjustments, provide hydration or correct proportions.
It is important to note that it is not only the material itself that determines the result, but also the choice of the right filler for the respective initial situation. Different products have different properties in terms of softness, shape stability and integration into the tissue. Careful analysis and targeted dosing are therefore crucial. The best material is of little use without a good aesthetic concept. The focus is always on a harmonious, natural result, not a standardised volume.
