Manon Marchi has been working in the field of preventive dentistry since 2002. After studying dentistry at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt for three years, Ms. Marchi decided to pursue the path of preventive dentistry. From the dental assistant (ZFA) over several years experience in the dental practice in the areas of individual prophylaxis and chair assistance to the internationally recognized Bachelor of Dental Hygiene and Prevention Management.
Further training to become a dental hygienist is the highest qualification to be achieved internationally in the field of UPT (supportive periodontal therapy) and individual prophylaxis. In contrast to a prophylaxis assistant, a dental hygienist may carry out systematic periodontal therapy herself.
In America and Switzerland, dental hygienists have long been an integral part of periodontology.
